After two years of fact finding, Lansford Borough Council finally has an idea of what it will cost to upgrade its aging sewer system millions of dollars.
The announcement was made during presentations by the borough engineer, Johann F. Szantner of Cohan Associates, and senior project manager Carl H. Wishner. The upgrade has been mandated by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, which ordered the borough to install a system to separate storm and sewer water.
