A Carbon County railroad will receive $2.5 million for the construction of a bridge.

Governor Edward G. Rendell announced that Reading, Blue Mountain and Northern Railroad Co. from Carbon County as well as six other railroads and five businesses will split $20 million for rail freight improvement projects, stimulate economic development and reduce traffic congestion.
