Misericordia University teacher education majors recently received their student teaching classroom assignments for the spring semester.

Twenty-two Misericordia University student teachers participated in the program, which prepares the undergraduates for classroom observation and instruction in several regional school districts.The following local student teachers received assignments to the following school districts: Kara Kern of Kresgeville, Pleasant Valley and Palmerton Area school districts; Brianna Oswald of Lehighton, Luzerne Intermediate Unit 18 and Lehighton Area School District; Tamara Stubits of Slatington, Northwestern Lehigh and Parkland school districts.
