The small borough of Walnutport was filled with tension for about four hours yesterday when police moved in on a borough couple, denying a court order to surrender their daughter and the father allegedly threatening a police officer.

When the smoke cleared, however, not a shot was fire, no one was injured, and the 15-year-old daughter, a runaway from the Northampton County Children and Youth Services Agency custody was returned to the custody of the agency.
