Franklin Klock, a naturalist with the Carbon County Environmental Education Center, recently visited the residents at Hometown Nursing Center in Hometown. He brought pelts from a beaver, a bear and snake skins. Later he showed residents live animals including an opossum, a hawk and a snake. The residents, family and staff enjoyed the program. They have already invited him back in the spring.
