A long-range program designed to alleviate parking conditions in Mauch Chunk was planned at the regular meeting of borough council.

Points to be considered will include:Parking meters and the attitude of businessmen toward them; operation of a municipal parking lot; and the widening of Race Street to provide more parking spaces on Broadway.The program is expected to take considerable time and will be ready for execution next spring.
