A fallen tree closed Fairview Street in Rush Township for a couple of hours last evening while communication crews tending to utility lines that were holding up the large tree. The location was about 400 feet from the SR54 intersection and Ryan Township line. Responding were firefighters and fire police from Hometown and Quakake, as well as a PennDOT road crew. Also responding were Rush Township and Ryan Township Police. No power lines were affected.
