One person was killed in a crash on the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

The crash happened shortly before 11 a.m.

The vehicle overturned at milepost 87.1 northbound on the Northeastern Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

Police have not released any other details.

The left and right lanes were blocked and traffic was moving past the scene on the shoulder.

All lanes are open now.
