Emergency medical technicians as of 1:15 p.m. were helping a man who was bitten by a snake at the entrance to Glen Onoko. The type of snake has yet to be determined, but according to scanner chatter, the Gnaden Huetten campus of Blue Mountain Health System has anti-venom available for bites from rattlesnakes, cottonmouths and copperheads.
The unidentified man is about 50 years old, according to dispatchers.
