Marina Vasilyeva, 58, of Jim Thorpe, was placed in the ARD program by Judge Steven R. Servass on two pending counts of forgery-unauthorized act in writing. Palmerton police said she attempted to forge a prescription which was originally written for another and have it filled at a pharmacy in the borough.
She was placed for two years and ordered to pay $650 for the cost of the program, pay court costs of about $1,000, pay a $50 per month supervision fee, and render 100 hours of community service.
