Tamaqua 8th grader Alec Roseland participated in the National Geographic's Pennsylvania National Geographic Bee last month. Bees were held in schools with fourth through eighth grade students throughout the state to determine each school's Bee winner. The Bee was sponsored by Google and Plum Creek.
