On Aug. 13, Mahoning Township Police received a report of multiple credit cards inside a dumpster at a commercial building on Route 443. Inside the dumpster police found multiple credit cards that had been cut in half.
A forensic exam of the cards led police to the discovery of multiple fraudulent transactions at the Mahoning Township Giant, and Lowe's stores.On Aug. 12, the two men were caught on surveillance using fake credit cards preloaded with stolen account information to obtain high dollar gift cards.Anyone who is able to identify the men is asked to contact Mahoning Township Police at 570-386-2241.
