Canal Road in Franklin Township is closed due to a downed pole and utility lines lying across the roadway.

The incident occurred at 3 a.m. when neighbors reported the incident.

The scene is about a hundred yards north of the intersection with Main Road. Franklin Township fire police are maintaining traffic control at the scene.
