A young male driver escaped serious injury after falling asleep and crashing his red Chevrolet pickup truck along the 900 block of Penn Drive (SR443) late Sunday night in West Penn Township. The truck, traveling east, went up an embankment and then back down another embankment where it came to rest in the middle of the road. Responding were West Penn police, fire company and firefighters.
