Tamaqua police are hoping the public can help them solve a hit-and-run from Nov. 29.

Sometime between 12:30 and 2:50 a.m. a large vehicle struck the fence at the top of Stadium Hill, then fled the scene. A street sign, four fence posts, 36 feet of fencing and a Tamaqua Area School District van were damaged in the incident.The suspect vehicle will have front end damage and a broken taillight.Anyone with information is asked to call police at 570-668-5000 or 570-668-6100.
