Workshop planned on deer-proof landscaping

Carbon County Environmental Education Center is planning a workshop for area gardeners on how to deer-proof their landscape.

Master Gardener Linda Wiles will offer tips for successful spring planting projects designed to outsmart hungry deer at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 2. She will talk about deer-resistance trees, shrubs and flowers. The lecture will also include information on barriers and repellants that may help to prevent animals from destroying your garden.The program is free for EEC members.
