A winter weather advisory remains in effect from 6 pm this evening to 11 am Tuesday, with snow and sleet accumulations of up to 1 inch, along with around a tenth of an inch of ice.

Mixed precipitation is expected to begin sometime between 6 pm and 10 pm and may briefly change to all snow around midnight before changing to all freezing rain by dawn Tuesday.

Freezing rain may linger until late morning in the higher elevations while it should change to non-freezing rain in the lower elevations around sunrise Tuesday.

Winds will be northeast 5 to 15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.

Temperatures will be in the upper 20s to lower 30s toward sunrise Tuesday and then should rise into the mid 30s everywhere by 11 am Tuesday.

Today will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 41. North wind 9 to 14 mph becoming east in the afternoon, but temperatures will plummet by New Year's.
