The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a winter weather advisory, which is in effect from 6 am Saturday to 10 am
Sunday.
Heavy snow is expected to accumulate 3 to 6 inches.
Snow is expected to begin early Saturday morning and then taper off later Saturday night. There is the potential that some heavier snow moves this far north.
Ssome blowing and drifting snow may occur as winds increase. Roads will become snow covered and hazardous on Saturday.
Windsnortheast increasing to 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 25
mph Saturday.
Temperatures will be mostly in the lower 20s.
Some models are saying the storm could shift, bringing more snow to the area.
