Meterologists are watching an area of low pressure will likely bring accumulating snow to the region later Monday into Tuesday night.
A mainly light snowfall is favored for this event but there remains a potential for locally higher accumulations.
According to Accuweather, 1 to 3 inches will fall.
Here's the forecast from the National Weather Service:
Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 27. Northeast wind 3 to 7 mph.
Monday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 38. Northeast wind 6 to 9 mph.
Monday Night: Snow likely, mainly after midnight. Cloudy, with a low around 25. East wind 5 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
Tuesday: A chance of snow. Cloudy, with a high near 33. Southeast wind 5 to 7 mph becoming light and variable in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Tuesday Night: Snow likely, mainly before midnight. Cloudy, with a low around 26. Light west wind. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Wednesday: A chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 34. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 19.
Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 28.
Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 9.
Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 24.
Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 10.
