EASTON, Pa. (AP) - Three men charged in what authorities call a random killing spree in the Lehigh Valley last summer may have separate trials in eastern Pennsylvania.
Charged in Lehigh County are 23-year-old Todd West of Elizabeth, New Jersey; 20-year-old Robert Jourdain of Easton; and 23-year-old Kareem Mitchell of Newark, New Jersey.The (Allentown) Morning Call (http://bit.ly/1Rbc9hb ) reports that defense attorneys asked at a hearing last week that the three cases be severed, and prosecutors didn't oppose the idea.All are charged in the July 5 shooting death of 22-year-old Kory Ketrow in Easton and the slaying of 32-year-old Francine Ramos and 21-year-old Trevor Gray in Allentown later that day. Authorities allege that the victims were chosen at random.West is also accused of killing four other people in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
