This April's snow showers could hurt May's flowers with expected precipitation over the weekend.
According to AccuWeather meteorologist Tom Kines, "The first part of the weekend looks to be more like February than April. I suspect a lot of people are going to be angry."Kines predicts a small snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches, or worst-case scenario, 4 to 5 inches falling after midnight into early Saturday morning. Road conditions are expected to be slick during Saturday's early hours with temperatures only reaching the high 30s during the day."It's just not a good weekend. Tomorrow will be a good day to stay inside," he said. "No doubt this weekend will be cold and we will have to deal with snow."The sun will make an appearance Sunday though temperatures will remain on the colder side of the low 40s."Sunday there could be some wet snow early in the night. It wouldn't be shocking to see it," Kines said.
