The Carbon County Republican Committee would like to remind you how important it is to exercise your right to vote. The election will be held on November 6.

The deadline for new voter registration is October 9.MaryEllen Salerno, chairperson of the Carbon County Republican Committee, said it's hard for everyone to take time out of their hectic schedules to register "so we would like to make the process easy for you and assist in any way we can."She said voter registration can occur by visiting the GOP headquarters at 198 South First Street in Lehighton, Monday through Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. If the office is closed, the forms are available at the door which you can fill out and slide under the door.If you have any questions, phone (610) 379-4636.
