Flea market

A flea market will be held at Jerusalem United Church of Christ, 545 Church Drive, Palmerton (Trachsville) in the church grove. The two-day event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, rain or shine.

First UCC

First United Church of Christ, 457 Delaware Ave., will honor graduates during its worship services at 9 a.m. on Sunday. Church council will me at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Community meal

A free community meal will be held from 5-6:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 891 Columbia Ave., Palmerton. Come and enjoy a meal and fellowship.

Family history

Do you know who your family is? Come to the Palmerton Area Library, 402 Delaware Ave., from 6-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday to find out. You can learn how to research your family history. This meets the second Tuesday of each month.

Support group

Everyone is welcome to attend a Grief & Loss Support Group at Jerusalem United Church of Christ, 545 Church Drive, Palmerton (Trachsville). The group will meet the second Wednesday of each month beginning at 1 p.m. June 13. Directed by a professional counselor, this group is for people experiencing grief due to trauma, loss or death. Wing night

Wing Night will be held at the Bowmanstown Volunteer Fire Co., 259 Lime St., from 6-9 p.m. June 14.

Palmerton library

The Lehigh Valley Zoo Live Animal Program will be the opening for the Palmerton Area Library Summer Reading Program. The opening will be held at 10:30 a.m. June 15 at the library, 402 Delaware Ave. Come see how animals use music.

Preschool circle time

Music, stories, dancing and more for ages 3-5 will be held at the Palmerton Area Library Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. June 21 through July 26. No programs during the week of July 4.

Reading program

Stories, puppets, art and music for grades K-6 will be held at the Palmerton Area Library Fridays at 10:30 a.m. June 22 through July 27. No programs during the week of July 4.

Bus Trip

Jerusalem United Church of Christ, Trachsville is sponsoring a bus trip to The Sights & Sounds Theater to see “Jesus” on July 6. The trip includes a ticket to the show and bus transportation. The group will enjoy a 3-hour stop at the Green Dragon flea/farm market and auction. The bus will leave Palmerton at noon, stop at the Green Dragon, and then on to the show which starts at 7 p.m. Food purchase is on your own. Summer concerts

Palmerton Concert in the Palmerton Borough Park will feature the “Who Knows Band” on Sunday beginning at 7 p.m. The Bandstand Committee reserves the right to cancel in the case of inclement weather. Please bring a lawn chair and enjoy an evening of music.
