Flash flood warning through tonight
Showers and thunderstorms over the weekend produced heavy rain and serious flooding across parts of the watch area. 4 to 6 inches of rain fell in some locations. Additional showers and thunderstorms are likely through this evening across the watch area. Rainfall from these showers and thunderstorms could lead to more flash flooding especially in areas that have already received heavy rainfall.
The potential exists through this evening for some locations to see 1 to 2 inches of new rainfall in less than an hour. Localized additonal rainfall amounts of a few inches cannot be ruled out.
