Smokey Bear will be at the Locust Lake State Park amphitheater on Saturday, Aug. 18. The program begins at 6 p.m.

Dave Duffy, the New England Fire Company fire chief, will give a fire prevention and campfire safety presentation, followed by a visit from Smokey Bear.The program is free and open to the public. It will be held shine only.Children must be accompanied by an adult.
