The Nesquehoning Historical Society will meet at 6 p.m. on Tuesday in the former Nesquehoning Baptist Church, located at the corner of Ratcliff and West Railroad streets in Nesquehoning.

The special presenter will be Gini Smith Steigerwalt, who will talk about the evolution of Christmas decorations from the 1920s to the 1960s. Her presentation is entitled “Christmas in July.”

Light refreshments will be provided. All meeting are open to the public.

To join the Nesquehoning Historical Society, the dues are $10 per year. Payment can be made at Tuesday’s meeting or mailed by check or money order to the Nesquehoning Historical Society, c/o Nesquehoning Borough Building, 114 W. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning, PA 18240.
