ANDREW LEIBENGUTH/TIMES NEWS Approximately 50 children, ages 2 to 12, from the Lansford Library's youth program got a chance to learn about birds during a related program given Monday by Jeannie Carl, a volunteer and naturalist with the Carbon County Environmental Education Center (CCEEC). Carl holds "Bruce", an 8-year old Screach Owl. Carl said that Screach Owls can turn their heads aproximately 275 degrees as they don't have eye muscles.
