Members of the Tamaqua Community Arts Center in Tamaqua are hosting a free poetry class every Wednesday starting today and ending August 8 for kids in grades 3, 4 or 5.

The classes, which start at 6 p.m., are titled "What's Your Wordsworth?" Teaching the class will be Melanie Turrano, a Professor of English at LCCC.No pre-registration is required. Organizers point out that it includes kids entering third grade and leaving 5th grade.For information, visit
