Bible school

The Ebenezer E.C. Church, Center Avenue, will host a vacation Bible School this week, from 6-8:45 p.m. The theme is "Son Rise National Park" and is open to children of the community from ages 5-18.Borough vacanciesThe Jim Thorpe Borough Council is seeking residents interested in sitting on the Civil Service Commission. Letters of interest should be received at the borough office by July 14. They are also accepting applications for part-time police officers. Applications may be picked up at the borough office and they must be returned by July 14, also.
