Mr. and Mrs. George Trexler, Washington D.C. visited with the former's mother in Lehighton. Mr. Trexler was Lehighton's first mail carrier. He went to Washington under the late Fourth Assistant Postmaster General James I. Blakeslee and became assistant director of the postal department, which is next in line to Fourth Assistant Postmaster General. Mr. and Mrs. Trexler registered at the County Commissioners office today as voters.
