The Lehighton Area Lioness Lions Club will be sponsoring the annual Breakfast with Santa at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Lehighton Recreation Center on Eighth Street in Lehighton.

There will be one seating only, which will be limited. The event, for each child, includes a visit, gift and stocking from Santa, candy and breakfast. Latex balloons may be used at this event. Remember to bring your camera for photos.In addition to the breakfast, a basket raffle will be sponsored by the Caring Committee of Blue Mountain Health System. Tickets for the basket raffle will be drawn at the event.Children are encouraged to write letters to Santa and place them in his mailbox while at the breakfast. If a self-addressed stamped envelope is included, a return letter will be mailed to each child from Santa, and there is no cost to do this.Children will also be able to greet Mrs. Claus and sign up for Santa's "Naughty or Nice List."The Doctor from Penn's Peak Radio, sponsored by Pamela Gothard - ReMax real estate, will bring Christmas cheer by providing DJ services at this event.This breakfast is one of the largest events of its kind in the area.For more information, or to obtain tickets, call 610-377-8132, 570-325-8685 or 610-379-4284 by Thursday.Tickets will not be available for sale at the door.
