Rush Township residents won't have to dig any deeper into their pockets to pay their taxes next year.
The township board of supervisors, on Thursday, unanimously agreed to adopt the 2017 spending plan with no increase in the millage rate.As a result, next year's spending plan will remainat 5.62 mills.However, sewer fees will increase by $6 per quarter for Hometown residents, and by $4 per quarter for Lake Hauto residents as a result of an increase the township has to pay.Hometown's new sewer rates will now be $178, while Lake Hauto's will be $144.There are no other increases associated with next year's budget.
