The Class of 1979 of Marian High School held its 40th reunion the weekend of Aug. 30 and 31. On Friday night, the class gathered for a pregame tailgate party prior to the Marian football game at Men of Marian Stadium. On Saturday, student ambassadors provided guided tours of the school for the class members, including the new STEM Labs. Later, the Rev. Eugene Ritz, Class of 2000, celebrated a Mass in the school chapel followed by the reunion cocktail hour and dinner at Basile’s Restaurant in Hometown. Classmates traveled from all over the continent, including Ontario, Canada; Florida, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Maryland.
