A Tamaqua woman has been cited after she allegedly lied to police in order to hide a wanted felon.

Kimberly Ann Hill, 47, of 35 E. Vine St., Tamaqua, was charged with hindering the apprehension/prosecution of a criminal and obstruction of justice in connection with an incident on Feb. 11.Officers went to Hill's home that day to execute two warrants for Carl Rex. Hill lied to officers and said Rex was not in the home. Rex was found in a bedroom, hiding in a cedar chest.
