Marian Catholic High School student representatives to the Schuylkill Youth Summit program included: adviser Pete Sanfilippo, Ethan Kuczynski, Aaron Srinivasan, Henry Kreisl and Anthony Collevechio. The team was challenged to combat property blight in their school community, choosing to help revitalize the Marian Catholic High School baseball field, which was unable to be used the past few years due to deterioration. The students raised money through school fundraisers, such as, "Pie a Faculty Member in the Face" and a student dress-down day. They also reached out to local businesses asking for support.
