Police have charged a Mount Pocono man with dangling his 5-month-old baby by the leg during a domestic dispute.

Keith Cooper, 26, of 113 Snow Shoe Lane, was charged by Pocono Mountain Regional Police with simple assault, theft, recklessly endangering another person, criminal mischief and harassment.According to a news release from police, they responded to a report of a woman screaming on Horseshoe Bend, Tobyhanna, at 4 a.m. Feb. 28.They spoke with Tara Kelly, who said she was fighting with her baby's father, Cooper.Kelly told police that she had locked herself in a bedroom during the argument and that Cooper broke into the room.He took their baby outside, where he and Kelly continued their argument.Kelly told police Cooper held the baby upside down by one leg and would not give back the baby.She was able to get the child, and Cooper left after damaging the inside of the house.Cooper turned himself in on Tuesday.He was arraigned before District Judge Anthony D. Fluegel and released on $5,000 unsecured bail.
