A man died in a two-vehicle crash that involved a motorcycle on Friday night at the intersection of Cherryville Road and Locust Drive in Lehigh Township.

He was the driver of the Harley Davidson motorcycle.Police said the crash occurred around 10:37 p.m. when the motorcycle, which was traveling west on Cherryville Road, collided with a Chevrolet Equinox driven by Michael Mathesz, 62, of Northampton. The latter was southbound on Locust Drive when it entered the intersection.Police said the motorcyclist and a passenger, Pamela Kellow, 48, of Northampton, were not wearing helmets. She was flown by the Penn Star helicopter to St. Luke's University Hospital, Fountain Hill.Mathesz was not injured.Township police were assisted at the scene by the Lehigh Township Fire Company, Northampton Regional EMS and the Northampton County Coroner's Office. The crash remains under investigation.
