A Schuylkill County driver was injured in a one vehicle crash that occurred about 7:20 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 25, along SR4033 in West Mahanoy Township.

State police at Frackville said John Reese, of Shenandoah, was driving a 1996 Peterbilt truck southbound when it veered into the northbound lane. Reese attempted to steer it back to the southbound lane but over-corrected causing it to leave the road and crash into a tree.Reese was transported to the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, for treatment of injuries, troopers said.
