State police at Frackville are investigating the theft of a mountian bike.

A 16-year-old male from the William Penn section of West Mahanoy Township, Schuylkill County, reported his orange and silver Next Power X bike was removed from his residence sometime between 3:35 and 3:50 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 13. The bike is valued at $120.Troopers are also probing the theft of a road sign. Troopers said a "slow down" sign owned by Middleport borough and located in the unit block of Washington St., was stolen sometime between midnight and 11 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 14.Anyone with information on either incident is asked to call troopers at (570)-874-5300.
