Pocono Mountain Regional police are investigating an attempted burglary at a Monroe County business.

Police said on Monday, July 25, about 2:45 a.m. officers were called to the Mount Pocono Plaza, in Mt. Pocono. Employees of the McDonald's Restaurant reported hearing glass breaking at one of the stores in the plaza.A further investigation revealed two windows of Brother Bruno's Pizza were smashed by the use of lids from trash cans.Witnesses reported a white male, about five-feet, nine inches tall, age range of 28 or 29, with blonde hair was seen in the area and leaving an a maroon colored Dodge Ram truck.The truck was driven by a white female with blonde hair and a passenger, white female, with dark hair. One of the females was described as having a diamond shaped tattoo on her forearm.Witnesses also reported one of the females told them they lived in Providence, R.I.Police are asking anyone with information concerning this incident to call them at (570)-895-2400.
