Franklin Township police closed Long Run Road just east of West Valley road Friday after a vehicle snapped off a PPL utility pole along the north berm. State police from Lehighton first responded to scene while the Franklin Township Fire Company set up their fire police to maintain traffic control before township police ordered the road closed. There was no power outage reported in the immediate area.
