Police are calling a fire that happened at 9:24 a.m. March 28 in Slatington an arson.

It happened at 16 Fourth St., Apartment 7. The victims are a 31-year-old woman from Slatington and a 37-year-old man from Schnecksville.

The Slatington Fire Department, as well as Fire Marshal Dean Heffelfinger, were summoned. Police said a portion of a wall was burned. Damages were estimated at $500.
