Carbon County Attorney Gerald F. Strubinger Jr. was honored by College Misericordia with the awarding of its prestigious Medallion Award.

The award was presented during Alumni Weekend to Strubinger, a Mahoning Township resident. Medallion Award recipients are those who demonstrate outstanding community service and a commitment to strengthening family life.

Strubinger graduated from Misericordia in 1988 and went on to receive his law degree in 1992 from Widener University School of Law in Harrisburg in 1992.

He is the principal of the Strubinger Law Office, P.C., Palmerton.
