State Rep. Jamie Barton, R-124, will host a damaged license plate replacement event from 3-6 p.m. Aug. 10 at Cabela’s, 100 Cabela Dr., Hamburg.

License plates are considered illegible when one or more numbers or letters cannot be recognized from 50 feet away, and damaged if they have blistering, peeling, discoloration or loss of reflectivity.

The Tilden Township Police Department will be at the event to sign off on forms. Applicants will then receive a new plate in the mail. There is no cost.
