Residents of the Panther Valley School District may get an added benefit thanks to the reconstruction of the stadium in Lansford.

According to Business Manager Thomas Cipriano Jr., the school board is expected to authorize a walking track around the stadium at an additional cost of $64,000.

The macadam track would be built around the football field and would be open to the public. It would have a four-foot fence separating the track from the playing field and grandstands, accompanied by low-level lighting.
