A summer staple in the Summit Hill community will be held this weekend.
St. Joseph Parish of the Panther Valley’s 89th annual Summer Festival will be held on the church grounds on West Ludlow Street Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The annual festival kicks off at 5 p.m. each night.
There will be music by the Pennsylvania Villagers from 5-9 p.m. on Friday, Six to Midnight from 6-10 p.m. on Saturday and Tommy and Clayton from 5-9 p.m. on Sunday.
There will also be a selection of games for the children, a bounce house, bake sale, basket raffle and more.
In addition, drawings for cash, home heating fuel, gas cards, a grill and a 65-inch television will take place.
One of the highlights will also be the selection of homemade local and ethnic food specialties including halushki, halupki, bleenies, burgers, pizza, deep fried Oreos, sausage sandwiches and more.
