Several charitable causes and agencies in the Palmerton area are eligible to receive a grant from the Carbon County Community Foundation - The Jim Christman Team Cares Fund.

Continuing until July 20, people may vote for their organization on the The Jim Christman Team Facebook Page.

The organizations are CACPAC food pantry, Meals on Wheels of Palmerton, Palmerton Area Veterans Memorial Committee, Palmerton Summer Recreation Committee and Carbon County Friends of Animals.

The top three groups will be awarded a grant, with first place receiving $1,000, second place $750, and third place $250.

The award presentation will be at The Jim Christman Team Client Event Summer Splash at 4 p.m. July 22, 590 Harvard Court, Palmerton.

The Christman Team Cares Fund is a donor-advised fund that was established by Jim and Tiffani Christman, owners of the The Jim Christman Team at Keller Williams.

The primary purpose of The Christman Team Cares Fund is to support and assist charitable causes and agencies in the Palmerton area in Carbon County.
