At least two people were injured Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Penn Forest Township.

The crash occurred just after 9 a.m. at the intersection of Route 903 and Maury Road.

One of the vehicles came to rest down a slight embankment facing north along the right berm while the second one crashed through a post and wire fence coming to rest in a cornfield.

Penn Forest fire police reduced Route 903 to one alternating lane.

State police at Lehighton are investigating the incident.
