Peter Burdier, 29, of McAdoo, was uninjured when a 2007 Ford Fusion he was driving struck two deer at 1:56 a.m. July 2 on the CANDO Expressway, Hazle Township.

State police at the Haz- leton barracks said he was southbound when the deer ran out from the left side of the road and were struck. The car sustained disabling damages and was towed from the scene, police said.
