A 27-year-old Effort man was injured when he was punched in the face and chest area by a client at KidPeace, North Whitehall Township.

It happened at 5:27 p.m. June 30 when the client, an 18-year-old from Jenkintown, struck the facility employee because he was upset about being denied an ice cream sandwich and peanut butter and jelly sandwich, according to state police at the Bethlehem barracks.

The client was charged with harassment.
